How It Works

From Registration to Victory

Five simple steps from sign-up to competing on the global stage.

Register Your Team

Form a team of up to 5 players using any valid email. No affiliation required for the Open Championship. Professors selecting professor access need an institutional academic email (.edu, .ac.in, .ac.uk, .edu.au, etc.).

Set Your Policy Levers

Each round, adjust 10 macroeconomic levers — interest rates, fiscal spending, trade policy, and more.

Respond to Crises

Random economic events hit every team. How you respond determines your resilience score.

Climb the Leaderboard

Scores update after each round. The top 8 teams enter the playoff bracket and compete for a share of the competition award fund.

Win Real Awards

Top finalists share the competition award fund, seeded by MacroNations. Top 8 teams qualify for the playoff bracket. Certificates are issued to all participants.

Ready to Govern?

Join teams from around the world competing in the world's most rigorous macroeconomic policy simulation. Universities, independent players, and open competitors welcome.
